Norfolk, VA, to get an Autograph Collection property (probably late 2017)
A developer plans to turn a century-old downtown office building into a 120-room boutique hotel with a glass art theme. The hotel would be part of Marriott’s “Autograph Collection,” a chain of about 100 luxury or boutique properties across the world.
The hotel would be in the 13-story Royster Building at 201 Granby St.
City records say the hotel would include a lobby restaurant and bar, a rooftop lounge and a permanent glass art gallery that would be open to the public."
