Glad your stay worked out for you - especially on such short notice.

I've only stayed at this property twice - and have had problems both times. This was actually one of my favorite hotel problems of all times - I found a significant amount of lipstick near the front opening of the bathrobe, just below the waistline! I wish this was caused by my visit - but, sadly it wasn't.

This last time (not the lipstick time), there were enough mix ups (wake up call and breakfast errors) that they comped me on a future night's stay. The desk manager said he'd have the general manager mail me a letter with such an offer. To facilitate this, I gave the desk manager my business card.

About a week later, the letter arrived from the general manager - however, the company listed in the address wasn't mine, but that of a competitor's whose name has one common word and one different word from my bank's name. They cared enough to write the letter, just not to check who they were sending it to.

This hotel also mixes up "club level" with "club access." Meaning your club room may not be on the club floor (or even connected via stairs to the club floor) - you'll be in an elevator to get to the lounge. (Like CLE, SIN, and others.)

I would go back to this property - but primarily for the location.
