Bear in mind that Jud Linville, CEO of Citicards, worked at American Express from 1989 - 2010. I think it is safe to assume that he understands how the Costco relationship works, and that the three way agreement between Costo, VISA and Citi will give Citi a good opportunity for a profitable relationship with Costco.
