Have not been to Banyan Tree, but loved the FS at Kuda Hura.

The current issue of the British edition of either T&L or Conde Naste (read it on the plane back from LHR and can't remember which) has a great article on the 5 or 6 best resorts in the Maldives, including the Banyan Tree - maybe it is online...
