I wanted to respond, but I really am not sure. The last time I stayed at the Hilton, I was told by locals (family) that the Hilton was where the upscale Puerto Ricans go - don't know if that minimizes the spring break effect.
The problem is that the Condado area is pretty contiguous, so there's bound to be a bunch of mixing between hotels.
I truly have no idea. My gut tells me that San Juan doesn't get like Cancun, but you'll definitely know it's spring break in Condado. The RC will insulate you a little, and any other town in PR is probably spring-break free.
Again, this is just my gut - maybe someone else has a more informed perspective.
