They should make whatever change you want without a change fee (though there may be a fare differential . . . I would ask them to waive that if simply changing same flight to a different day). You also have the right to a full refund of the ticket.

If it's an economy fare, the change fee is almost certainly $300.
$450 would be the change on a discount (P) business class fare.
