*G will get you premier access on your ticket, which gets the faster security lane. 90-120 min is good if you want to go to the UC. It is small and nothing special. I have not been to PDX recent enough to inform you on what the wait times will most likely be, but 70-90 min should be fine. Maybe closer to 90 since you are unfamiliar with the airport.
