Thanks for your reply. Confirming what I thought, but wanted to double check with the masses.

For my last question, I wouldn't just do it. I was asking if Delta would consider just canceling EWR>DTW>LAX leg for the departure. You think there is pretty much a 0% chance they would modify my itinerary?
