Maybe you got an older kiosk that doesn't scan screens - only the lasers scan phones, the old style scanners can't read the screen, all they get is glare.
This had nothing to do with a kiosk, as I was checking in on line from my home PC. The past 10 or so times I've done that this year, I automatically get to download my BP to my IPhone.
In any event, it didn't matter as even though (just in case) I printed out my BP, my electronic pass worked just fine.
