I just called as my $95 fee hit yesterday. Only offered $25 or 1,500 starpoints. $15k/yr spend. Asked about downgrade and they said not possible with this co-branded card. Need to cancel and then apply for new card. I have no need for this card as Chase Sapphire Preferred points are worth more. Wondering if I should pay and keep to see what happens in merger......
UPDATE: 6/14/2016 - Offered $25 or 500 SPG points. Asked for Supervisor - Increased offer to $25 plus 3,000 SPG points with no additional spend. Took it.
