+1. The flying public does NOT need to have this thrown in our collective faces. The fact that there is still no unified FA contract after this long is appalling. UA management should be embarrassed and I am glad Smi/J is gone so hopefully Oscar can get this fixed.

That said, as a customer I do not want to get dragged into their debate. I buy tickets on United Airlines, not "insert union affiliation here" Airlines. The pins are a not being worn to remind UA management there is no unified deal. They are worn to get us into the debate.
