Seems like there aren't many reasons to stop when driving from Uluru to Kings creek station (before reaching Kings canyon).

I have 4 days total and plan to spend:
2 days in Uluru
1 day driving from Uluru to KC, budgeting a late afternoon rim walk around KC - Do they allow you to enter in the afternoon?
1 day driving from KC to Alice springs
Hot air balloon the next morning before flying out

It's a shame I can't spend a full day in Alice, but I feel my time is better spent in Uluru and KC. I know it will be super hot in Nov, so will plan my hikes in the mornings and late afternoons.

Any critique on this plan?
