I've stayed at this hotel several times in the past, a couple of time paying to stay on the Club floor. Currently I'm platinum. Any chance of an upgrade from a standard room to the Club floor?

OP did after emailing the hotel, but that was back in 2008. Hannibal Lecter didn't in 2014. I know that Plat elite is pretty easy to get these days.
