Is your FF# included in your res? Do you have any status?
Using a third party res system means a message is sent to AA for the seats which AA's third party website system can basically ignore. Goes to a queue, and it's not considered important by airline standards if it isn't priority to the airport operation. And, I can tell you, it isn't, before flight date.
Some may disagree and I am sure there are multi-layers of opinion and experience out there.
But, the system message is for the most part ignored unless attention is drawn to it. (a bit more than MHO)
