Does anyone know if it is possible to book a four day rental with Hertz without having to pay for a full week? I thought it used to be that the 5 day rate was equal to a week. Now I am getting a result that shows a 4 day rental is priced as a week, in fact a 3 day and 3 hour rental is considered a week!


The daily rate for a 3 day rental multiplied by 5 is the price asked for a week for the same car, starting on the same day and time. So for those 3 hours Hertz is essentially asking an additional amount equal to 2 days rental.


Seems illogical and unfair.
