By the way, 1 week is 6 days to long.

Spend a full day and a night. The falls are lite up at night. Colors change every 15 or 30 minutes. Head back in the morning as it's nice and crisp then. Great morning light.

If you drive up to Niagara on the Lake, it may be peach season. Stop at a roadside stand. Enjoy.

Toronto is about 2 hours away.
Cleveland about 3 hours.

Finger Lake region of New York is about 3 hours southeast.
