Thanks for all the great advice. I am staying at the two Four Seasons under the package refered to above ("Sea and River", I think -- or something like that). I actually chose the Ritz Carlton for just a couple of days when we first get there to decompress and get over our jetlag. I knew it wouldn't be as nice, but it is significantly less expensive even at the Club level where we are booked. The bulk of our time will be spent at the two four seasons. Although comments here about the RC are making me re-think that. We are also staying at the Ritz Carlton in Singapore due to the $75 deal my fiancee got through work. I have stayed there before and found it very nice.

Is Bali really as bad as indicated? I knew there were areas which were not desirable, but I understood that the country as a whole was charming. No?

I have to admit, besides always wanting to go to Bali, my 2 first class tickets on Singapore Airlines all the way there and back using Delta SkyMiles played a big factor in the decision. We are paying for our own wedding, so I tried to cut corners where it wouldn't be a big deal. I hope I suceeded
