Smile Baltic Cruise + Amsterdam, via British Airways (J+F class)

Quick Intro
If you're reading this, a warm welcome to the first of what I hope will be many trip reports here on FT. I know there's a thousand ways to write these, so I decided early on to stick to a bullet point/notepad style. It keeps my thoughts organized, and prevents me from rambling on and turning a report into a novel.

For those skimming reports for interesting areas/topics to explore further, here's a quick list of what this report will cover:

Flight #1

    Flight #2

      Flight #3

If that's of any interest, then please read on! And do let me know your thoughts, as I'm sure I can improve future reports a great deal. Now, put those tray tables up and let's go!
        -------------------------------------------------------
        Flight #1 - 5/21-22/16

        STL Admirals Club (AA)

                  STL-ORD (AA1425. MD80, F)
Flight: On time departure, arrived ORD (T3) ten minutes early. Smooth sailing.
Seats: As comfy as the well-loved seats on an MD80 can be. :\ At least the engines weren't roaring in our ears!
IFE: Discuss with wife which 3rd tier airline is going to be saddled with these things if/when AA finally sells them off
PDB: Choice of water or juice
Food: Selection of snacks were offered

                  ORD layover (7 hours)
Arrived 10:45am, T3. We thought to go immediately to T5 via the K20 shuttle bus, as we would depart from T5 later. Agent at K20 said that the BA shuttle to T5 didn’t start until 2:30pm, and security line was already 2+ hours. Since we were at K20 already, we tried to go to the Flagship Lounge at K19. Apparently, that’s only for F passengers, so we went to the K/H5 AC instead.

                  K/H5 Admirals Club

                          BA Terraces Lounge, T5

                                  ORD-LHR (BA294. 747-4, G-CIVH. Club World-J)

                                  Flight:
                                      Seats:
                                              IFE:
PDB: champagne, juices, water, soda. Bubbly on offer at this point was Henriot Brut Souverain NV. Good stuff!
Food: Somewhat regretted eating in the lounge, as a full meal service was offered around 90 minutes in.

                                                  My selections for dinner:

My selections for breakfast (served ~90 minutes before landing):

                                                              LHR layover (5 hours)
Arrival and departure were out of T5, so that was good. Cleared the “transfer security check” and the normal T5 security process quickly via upper class express line. Went to Galleries Club and stayed there the whole time.

                                                              T5 Galleries Club

                                                                      LHR-CPH (BA818. A320, G-EUPT. Club Europe)
Flight: On time departure and arrival, but decently bumpy for most of the way. (well, bumpy to me, anyway)

Observations on this, my 3rd flight on a A3xx plane:
Seats: Not bad, actually. Good back and lumbar support. Mid seat being blocked was a nice thing.
IFE: Discover that because my phone is still on airplane mode, my MLP game has hit a known time glitch that advances game time at 3x normal rate. In-game grindfest ensues. xD
PDB: Choice of juices, coffee, water, sodas.
                                                                            Food:

Mini-afternoon tea service (trio of finger sandwiches, scone, and sweet cake. Served with choice of tea/coffee, and spread of jams, clotted cream, etc.

***Flight #2-3 section of this report in next post***
