--Number_6--I always find it interesting when Conde Nast Traveler posts its "Gold List" of the best hotels in the world. The same hotels make the list year after year..generally, they include . Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Peninsula and Mandarin... I agree that there is a big difference between resort hotels and those geared to the business traveler. How does one compare the Four Seasons in Newport Beach (a business-oriented hotel) to that of the Four Seasons in Bali? The Peninsula Hong Kong could not be more different than the one in Beverly Hills.Mandarin, S.F. is so different than HKG. Ritz Carlton SF is completely different than Maui. This is why I posed my original question. Number_6 I would be interested in the hotels which make your top-10 (you can e-mail me, if you like).
