How about everyone in the UK who earns over £1M a year - the latest estimate is over 50,000 people reported earnings in excess of 1 million £ a year and easily anyone earning £250,000 a year and I bet there are over a million of those !
For most earners "reporting" that type of income a £5000 ticket is chump change. And that's "reported" earnings not even company expensed spending.
For a couple earning less than £100,000/yr it's still not outrageous but how people spend their money is their decision. Just look at the money spent on real estate, restaurants, cars as examples in just london and to conject who "can" spend that on airfare is easy !!! Could just as easily ask who can afford £2M on a house or £100,000 on a car. Answer ? Thousands of people. Tens of thousands of people !!!!
