Whilst I can happily pay for premium travel ex-LHR, I do think it's against the spirit of FT where often flying ex-LHR means one is not maximising one's TP earning opportunities!! Oh and my inner cheapskate would question why I would want to pay £3k+ out of my own pocket to fly to Tokyo ex-LHR in CW whereas I could pay £800 from Pisa on QR

But when it comes to work travel...then that's a different story as I neither have the time nor would it be cost effective to faff around repositioning to an ex-EU airport.
