The best and most astonishing thing (said in this thread before, but will repeat) I've heard was at Holland Village branch - when I complained at branch manager about quality of work and told him that in US I've never seen such behaviour, he said:
"Why do you expect in Singapore the same level of service?"
Important: I need to mention that this behaviour is happening so far in Singapore. In US, at least in Bay Area branches they are fine. When I told at Palo Alto branch manager my stories here in Singapore, she had at first problem believing it, but after that said that she is not authorized, but in behalf of the company she apologizes for all this troubles. Man, talk about differences of attitudes...
I had bad experiences with them in other countries too.
