The first BA ticket I had to buy from my own pocket was LHR to Nairobi return in Economy.
The ticket price was just under £600
That was in 1984. In real terms that is about £1800.00 today. Which makes your J tickets comparably cheap. We have perhaps forgotten how much tickets used to cost.
We are lucky to be able to choose how we spend our money...are we not?
