Admittedly it is only in the last few years that I have had to travel a lot. Business travel aside (which is economy only) I do try and travel WT+ for leisure, primarily taking advantage or booking early (usually 9 months ahead) and being flexible. I have never purchased/travelled on a business class ticket in nearly 40 years - until now. Next month I'll do an ex-EU to the US primarily because it was cheaper than economy from London.

(On a side - my last BA US-Germany fare was $2800 for a discounted economy ticket - I didn't even get full TPs!)
