Maybe so, but £50 a week is a lot to some people.

When you can pay £300-£400 for Y on a 6-9hr transatlantic flight, there's quite a difference between that and £2700 for most people.

I also wouldn't pay a premium for say BOS-LHR in order to get maybe 4hrs sleep (not that I can really sleep anyway and I'm usually not that bad in the morning). £400/hr is 2-3 nights in a nice hotel somewhere rather than an aircraft bed.

Added: Picked a random long weekend in Nov for LHR-JFK and got £2800 in J. Then did DUB-LHR-JFK and £1065. Considerable difference in this case!
