I too, watched enviously those Business and First passengers, dreaming that one day I would settle into a armchair seat and quaff champagne; alas life didn't quite work out that way for us. Still, (with the info. on FT) I have flown J quite a few times on Avios upgrades and BA Visa 2-4-1. I agree that without using Avios, it would be too expensive for 2 Adults and 2 Children. In March 2014 we all flew Ex-USA/ SEA-LHR-CPN in J. We used two 2-4-1 Avios and $5000 (the amount it would cost to fly in Y) Last November, we flew SEA-LHR DXB in Y which was fine but the Avios collected will contribute to our next trip in J! (Luckily bought the tickets last year before April!)
