I stayed at the Ritz FS two years ago and was very pleased overall. The exterior of the hotel is a bulky fascist looking structure (it was built under the Salazar regime), but the lobby areas are really spectacular. Be sure you get a room with a balcony (most have them) overlooking the park. The location is a little bit out of the way, but the service during my stay was impeccable and the rooms very comfortable. Bathrooms were the usual marble, separate shower, etc. Not as good as George V or some other FS, but definitely a good place to stay.
