Is there any reason I should hold onto my paltry amount of AA miles?

Much like a begrudging Scientologist, I've devoted most of my life to flying UA, though in the last few years, I've started to fly more DL and AS and crediting both to AF.

I booked a few segments on AA earlier this year for some routings that only AA served or where AA was a more convenient option. Part of the itinerary included some flights on QX and AS. Strangely, I was able to get the QX flights to credit to my AF account, but the AS mainline flights credited to AA, as did the AA flights of course. This means that I have a very paltry ~2,500 miles in my AA account. For reference, I have close to 10,000 in my AF account, more than 100,000 in my UA account, and I have my bonus coming from my Chase UR points in my next statement, which I can credit to either UA, AF, or others.

While I've since relocated to LAX, I can't picture myself choosing AA over UA or DL, let alone accruing a significant number of AAdvantage miles. But I'm here to ask all of you: can you give me a convincing reason to hold onto those miles in my situation, or should I just redeem them all for magazines/gift cards/whatever else? Or is there another more creative use of such a meaningless amount of miles?
