A few years back, I had a four night business trip to New York which got cancelled at the last minute. Rather than cancel the trip, I figured I'd stay in the city with my girlfriend. After checking in, I asked the concierge if we might be able to get tickets to see some shows, and he took down a list of shows we would be interested in. I was shocked that he was able to get us terrific seats for weekend night shows that were almost certainly long booked. Just terrific work!
