There is a report from Memorial Day weekend of a positive stay at this hotel. I could not link it, but if interested, go to Florida forum and look for a thread "Where to stay in Miami area" (post 25 in that thread has the results).

Thanks! It's only about 1.5 miles from the hotel front door to the terminal. That's a lot
shorter than the distance that I walked at DTW last week. (from one end of the terminal
and back)
