If you book a Superior Room as a Plat, they may only give you a Luxury Room (which are the old ones). I complained about this and got a Club Floor room for the last few nights, which was much better.
I was told all rooms will be updated. It will take some time before all rooms are refurbished since this is a huge hotel. At the moment, three floors (4, 5, and 6) in the bay wing are closed for renovation.

2. The lounge snacks were the best I've soon BUT it was just too crowded. They even had to set up tall tables to stand at as there were no seats. A quieter period will be OK.
I guess there isn't a hotel that can offer their best during a peak season when the hotel is fully packed.

I agree. This ridiculous and totally needless. If I would bring my own food, the hotel would just save in food consumption in the lounge.

6. The pool - yes it's nice but 1) there was nowhere to sit and when I asked for a glass of water, the service wasn't friendly at all.
They have now added water stations where anyone can pick up water at anytime. ^
