I just havent ever seen it. If its present on the booking or confirmation screens, its a well hidden little bugger.
Calls to VX to assist me seem to go to deaf ears. Sometimes the agents have no idea what I am talking about.
Odd as I am a VX Elevate Gold, you would think more experienced CS agents would be handling my calls.
i think as the idea of being owned by Alaska trickles down among the rank and file, I get the sad feeling these folks dont really care perhaps as much as they did a year ago.
just my 2 cents
It's a tiny box that you see at the very last page of the booking process. Right after you choose the credit card that you want to use for payment in that last page, information will come up on the right showing the fare and a box underneath offering the option to get travel insurance. Right underneath that box, you will see the message to opt in with a tiny box that you check.
Underneath all that you'll see a bigger box to enter the CVV of your card (once you enter that the "Pay Now" button comes up). As someone else stated, choosing this box could land you in a middle seat as the consider those in row 3 and 10 to be "upgrades." You are better off calling in at T-24 (Gold line) and ask if there's a seat other than a middle seat for an upgrade. Since I'm always on short flights and I don't drink I'm normally OK with row 9 so I don't even bother (I don't recline my seat even if I could on short flights).
