OS does not offer BOB food, they offer meals for pre-ordering, which is a different thing. They're actually very good (and something I'd like to see BA introduce) but unless you know that the standard 'snack' is a bag of pretzels you might be in for a shock, you can't order these meals on the plane, so you're out of luck.

AB/HG offer the same but they do have BOB, which in my opinion is no more exciting than the boring Iberia selection....overpriced, tasteless rubbish.

Thinking about these changes has made me realise one thing. I get or can get a hot meal on all of the carriers that I've travelled with in the last couple of years. A3 and RO offer hot food as standard, OS and AB/HG give you the option to pre-order (I think it's up 2 hours before the flight), and even Ryanair and Iberia have BOB items that you can ask to be heated. Only with BA are you stuck with the cold snack that they have to offer, and to be honest I'm not hopeful that it will be anything special. GIVE ME A HOT MEAL ANY DAY, MAKE THE EXPERIENCE BETTER.

What a shambles BA management are, they've made BA unique for all the wrong reasons. I think they now need to reword their motto - To fly, to serve!!!
