I am curious about buying a round trip, but only traveling one way. What happens with the unused portion? Is it "illegal", are there any reprocussions? I am taking a trip from London to Paris in Dec and the 109 Pound price is great. Thanks

hi, Cobijonz. I don't see how they can enforce it if you don't take the return train from Paris to London. this is the case with airlines also.

also I don't know how you got 109 pound price. I did it and got $90 us dollar round trip on Eurostar. may be you are doing first class.

check out Rick Steve's web site about buying round trip ticket: http://www.ricksteves.com/rail/greatbritain.htm#chunnel

I quote here: "It's often cheaper to pay for a round-trip special even if you're only traveling one-way. Book online at www.eurostar.co.uk or call 011-44-1233-61-75-75 from the US or 08705-186-186 within Britain. Tickets will be held at Waterloo station. £1 = about $1.50. "
