This is my first year back to UA Gold level after 3 years as Silver.

The chance of CPU is dependent upon the route and in some cases the flight. Hub to Hub routes and routes between hub and major domestic city are usually held at the Gold or Platinum level for CPU.

My typical routes are YYC-DEN-YYC, YYC-IAH-YYC, or YYC-IAH-DEN-YYC if I am seeing both offices in the USA (YYC is Calgary, Alberta, Canada). YYC-DEN route I am batting 1000 for CPU, even as a silver. YYC-IAH is about 25% as a silver and 75% as a gold. IAH-DEN is 0% as a silver and not attempted as gold. However I have found great success at getting P fare on IAH-DEN for little more than $100 above Economy fare (I pay the difference myself).
