Currently Tsukiji Fish Market’s last day of operation is scheduled as November 2. New Toyosu Fish Market will start operation on November 7.

Yes, visitors will able to view tuna auction at the new Toyosu Fish Market. Deck/platform to view tuna auction for visitors were built at new Toyosu Fish Market. Also, toilets were built at parking lot for visitors at new Toyosu Fish Market.

However, no details about how it will be handled. Will viewing of tuna auction be still free at new Toyosu Fish Market? No announcement yet. How many people will able to watch tuna auction from the deck/platform at once? No information yet.

Current Tsukiji Fish Market has no dedicated area for visitors. Visitors could simply walk into the auction area with unwashed shoes, and some visitors actually touch frozen tuna by bare hand. At new Toyosu Fish Market visitors will be segregated by deck/platform that visitors will not able to walk into working floor of the fish market.
