I am here on my 5th stay since soft-opening and my first stay this calendar year.
Some observations:
- Some management changes
- Sign with map in lobby driveway still shows Favola on Level 3, which it is not and never has been. This was planned pre-opening and never happened. But they keep the wrong map out there anyway. This is a red flag right there. Says a lot about management / owner attitude and care / attention to detail.
- Now PLT suite upgrades do happen! Before (shortly after opening) they did not really happen as most of the suites were not ready so they held back the few they did have for people who book them
- Did not evidence any drinks vouchers but happy hour is indeed cut back now to just drinks menu, no tapas
- In the PLT welcome letter they talk of 500 points OR breakfast buffet. Very strange. I will see what happens tomorrow when I show up for breakfast.
But overall I would say this place is off my radar now, too. Because of how this is tucked away behind the golf course it takes a good 20 mins to the airport and I can just as easily get to the airport from downtown in 45 mins.
