yeah. thanks to everyone's help and as my travel plans are taking shape I think we'll probably just plan on getting various street foods at the snow festival and maybe at chitose and then just crash at the Conrad that night.

My understanding is that the tsukiji market is closed ( or at least the tuna auctions) on sunday and monday so our only chance to see that would be saturday morning. would be best to get a few hours rest before waking up at like 4am. Any thoughts regarding this?
If tsukiji is open on monday morning along with the auction this would probably be preferable.
