I regularly make my WT overnight return flights from anywhere really a sleeper service. As soon as on board I put on my hoodie, ear plugs and eye mask. Sometimes some Melatonin in the lounge/resraurant is helpful, and i manage to sleep/dooze my way through the flight. When i wake up about an hour before landing i can usually head to the galley and convince the crew to still give me some breakfast.
Helps with jetlag too!
Exactly what I do too, especially in WTP. Because of flight timings I'm usually early at the airport anyway - ie at least 2-3 hours. I'll check in, go through security, and find a restaurant air side. Then on board take a melatonin as we depart, and sleep/snooze till landing. No meals, no IFE, no nothing thank you very much.
