Even though AR is SkyTeam, they appear to arrive in T7 (the former UA terminal, now used by BA). As this is the DL forum, you might get better help in the AA forum or better yet the BA forum (since they'll be familiar with international arrivals into T7, and how likely there are to be long queues when your flight arrives, or if there are APC kiosks you can use to speed up your arrival).

As AA leaves from T8, at least your (landside) transfer will be relatively short. You'll need to arrive T8 before AA's checked bag cutoff. For the last week, AR1300 has arrived on time or a few minutes early, so I'll again guess you'll probably be OK.
