A while back, I got a text from a girl I had been seeing in the past saying "hey United just told me your bag is delayed." It was rather hilarious to say the least. I DID have her phone number somewhere in my account because I had used some miles for a ticket for her at one point but it was in no way set up as primary, so I'm still not sure how it happened. I deleted it just to be safe, so mine is the only number in there now. Long story short, United IT can be pretty bad on this point, and seems to make random selections at times if you happen to have other e-mails or phone numbers anywhere in your account.
