It obviously depends upon when you go (not in school holidays), but I have never been disturbed by an excess of kids, as Reethi Rah or FS Landaa Giravaaru have very good dedicated kid's clubs/teen clubs, which tend to keep the litle darlings occupied. These are both such large islands that privacy is not a problem.
