I confirm what MichielR has said. It definitely fits but the gate dragons seem to go out of their way to prevent you taking it on board, even if you are in Best and you can use the space under the next seat.

At the gate they tie a tag to the case and when you get to the aircraft there will be a trolley on which you put the tagged luggage. It is returned to you at the aircraft steps on arrival.
