Actually I am querying why I can put on appropriate sunscreen and sit under a sun umbrella for 4 hours and end up sun burnt, which leads me to wonder whether the umbrellas are blocking as much UV rays as they should. (I didn't even know that was a thing, I had to google it) Judging by the amount of lobster-red skin around the resort, it can't just be me. We can all be judgmental and say "hey, put on some sunscreen and stay out of the sun" but when you do that anyway and get burnt, it impacts your ability to go down to the pool and relax with a nice book...

As for mosquitoes, I don't really care as much as I should given the risks. I'm just mentioning it as it seems to be a common query throughout this thread. (as far as I can tell, no bug spray in rooms or offered to guests so bring your own...)
