If a "quick bite," rather than fine cuisine, is all that is needed on Friday night, I would like to repeat my suggestion of grabbing it at the airport, which has 24-hour restaurants.

As I mentioned before, I have not been to Haneda since 1978, but Edo Market, which others have said is airside, has Japanese-style restaurants that stay open till 11PM or midnight.
