No what he means is if after adding your BA number to the AA flight it doesn't appear on your boarding pass, go to an agent at the airport to manually add it
prior to your flight.
In the event TP's don't post to your BA account (quite rare), you can file a back claim with BA (assuming you had your BA number on the booking when you flew. BA may ask for proof.
