with the old rules I'd have been all over this. from SFO for 450USD.

SFO-JFK-ZRH-LHR-SFO as Plat = ~25k RDM
new rules as plat: (100fare+200carrier-imposed fees)*8= 2400RDM, 10% of before... damn.
