To cut a long story short, I'm thinking of booking a trip to Tel Aviv with a friend. I can find very good prices for Aegean flights but on the return it would mean an 8 hour connection (from 8:10 to 16:20). I'm quite prepared to take advantage of the opportunity and visit Athens city for a few hours but my travelling partner has a tendency to make the most of lounge access.

He says he finds them a relaxing atmosphere to read and relax. I did travel with him last month to Japan and we spent about 4 hours in the BA lounge at LHR, but they don't seem to care how long people stay.
My question is, do Aegean lounge agents care if guests arrive so early before flights, and would they take exception to somebody being there for so long on a scheduled layover??
