We have digested all your advice, particularly the Coopers beer bit. We'll be 4 days SYD area, 2 and half Alice Springs/Ayers Rock, 4 days Cairns area, back to SYD overnight and home.

This way we won't be rushing too much. I asked ourselves the question, what are the top three geographic things we think of when Australia is mentioned, it was the three above. I think this will give us a good taste of OZ, and ensure we travel their again before too long.
