I'm trying to get an award ticket LAX-NRT-SGN where LAX-NRT is in F and NRT-SGN in C in late June. If I search for them separately, both legs are available. If I try to book them as one ticket using either United, Aeroplan or Lifemiles, they are unavailable.
So, I'm thinking about booking them as 2 separate tickets using Lifemiles for LAX-NRT and Aegean for NRT-SGN.
If I understand correctly, ANA website says that for all international travel, they use piece system where First gets 3 bags and Business gets 2 bags, right? So, if I'm to check 3 bags at LAX, I would have to pay just for the 3rd bags on NRT-SGN, right?
I don't want to be in the situation where NRT-SGN follows the weight system and I'm SOL paying the excess baggage charges by kg
